Amazon is opening its first physical store in Seattle today. For nearly 20 years, Amazon has been selling books from its online store and Amazon Books will be the first offline store from the company. According to The Verge, Amazon Books won't be a traditional book store rather it would accumulate data from Amazon's online book store like customer rating, popularity on Goodreads to decide on books to stock. The curators will have a say too. At Amazon Books, under each book there would be a review card indicating the Amazon.com customer rating and a review. Amazon will also be showcasing Kindle, Echo, Fire TV and Fire Tablet devices at its first physical bookstore. Amazon is deploying special people to demo these devices and help users select one or answer questions related to these devices.
