Apple has updated the new iMac family with new 21.5-inch Retina 4K iMac and has made Retina 5K display standard on every 27-inch iMac. The new Retina displays offer more immersive experience because of the wider color gamut and spectacular image quality. Its not just the display but Apple has also updated the iMac line with new processors and graphics chip, two Thunderbolt 2 ports and new storage options making the Fusion Drive even more affordable. The newly announced 21.5-inch Retina 4K iMac comes with 4096 x 2304 resolution display. The 21.5-inch iMac gets fifth generation Intel Core processor with Intel Iris Pro graphics while the 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display is now powered sixth-generation Intel Core processor coupled with AMD graphics. [related-post] The new iMac comes with Fusion Drive technology which combines the large storage capacity of a hard drive with high performance of flash making the boot times faster. The new lower priced configuration offers a 1TB hard drive with 24GB of fast flash. Fusion Drive is also available with 2TB and 3TB configurations with up to 128GB of fast flash. Apple has also updated the Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad 2 making them even more confortable, capable and environmentally friendly. All three accessories now come with built-in battery thus making the need for AA batteries redundant. Every new Mac comes with OS X El Capitan that refines the experience with improved system performance and better mission control. The new OS also comes with better spotlight search with support for natural language search. The new 21.5-inch iMac starts at Rs 91,900 and Rs 107,900 and its priced at Rs 123,900 for Retina 4K display. The 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display starts at Rs 148,900. All these new iMac come standard with the new Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2.
