Apple sent out invites for its upcoming Glowtime launch event, happening on September 9, where the company is most likely to announce the iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch Series 10, and more. Every year, after its biggest annual launch event, Apple also discontinues some of its existing products, and this year, right after the launch of the iPhone 16 series, Cupertino may discontinue manufacturing as many as 10 products, which will include some of the most popular devices like the iPhone 15 Pro.

If you are planning to purchase any of the currently listed products on Apple.com, then, you might just have less than two weeks to do so. Here are 10 such products that will soon disappear from Apple’s product catalogue.

  1. 01

Apple iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max

Apple will discontinue its current flagship smartphones — iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max — right after the launch of the iPhone 16 series. Apple has been discontinuing its iPhone Pro series every year, and these devices will disappear as soon as the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max go on sale on the official website.

  2. 02

    Apple iPhone 14 Plus

Apple might also axe the iPhone 14 Plus, its first big iPhone with a 6.7-inch screen without the Pro moniker. The iPhone 14 Plus was introduced as a replacement of the iPhone 13 mini, catering to those who prefer iPhones with big screens and enhanced battery life. One can get a brand-new iPhone 14 Plus for as low as Rs 58,999 on platforms like Flipkart.

  3. 03

    Apple iPhone 13

Another iPhone that might disappear from the company's catalogue will be the iPhone 13. Apple discontinued the iPhone 12 last year, and the iPhone 13 will be discontinued this year, making the base iPhone 14 the entry-level model for anyone looking for an affordable iPhone.

  4. 04

    Apple Watch Ultra 2

Apple is most likely to replace its Watch Ultra 2 with the Ultra 3 this year, which is said to look identical to its predecessor. Despite its similar looks, the Ultra 3 is said to be powered by a new S10 chip and is expected to offer new fitness/health-related features.

  5. 05

Apple Watch Series 9, SE 2

Besides Ultra 2, Apple Watch Series 9 will also be officially discontinued in favour of the new Watch Series 10, which is said to feature a bigger display and a new design, making it look radically different from the previous Apple Watches. Apple Watch SE 2 might also go away, only if the company introduces the Watch SE 3, which might come with a lightweight plastic case, a first for an Apple Watch.

  6. 06

    Apple AirPods 2

First introduced in 2019, the 2nd generation AirPods with wireless charging are still listed on the company's website, despite the launch of AirPods 3. Apple might finally discontinue the AirPods 2, and might even introduce the successor to the AirPods 4 while retaining the AirPods 3 as an entry-level option.

  7. 07

    iPad 10

Apple might also discontinue the base iPad 10, only if it introduces a new entry-level iPad. Apple announced the refreshed iPad 10 in 2022, and we might finally see a new entry-level iPad at the Glowtime event.

  8. 08

    iPad mini 6

Another iPad that's waiting for an upgrade is the iPad mini 6, which was introduced back in 2021, and with the launch of the iPad mini 7, Apple is most likely to discontinue the same.

While Apple might officially discontinue the aforementioned products, these devices should be available at least for the next few months via various online and offline retailers. However, once the products are officially discontinued, Apple will cease manufacturing them, hence, they will also disappear from the store shelves pretty soon.
