While most modern cars already have capable infotainment systems that offer features like navigation and music playback, they are often slow, lack audio quality or may not support Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Pioneer’s Car Stereo DMH-A4450BT infotainment system features a 6.8-inch touchscreen and comes with support for both wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This means you can connect your phone to the device and reply to messages, start navigation and even initiate calls.

On the connectivity front, it supports USB, Aux, Bluetooth and FM Radio and even has a built-in microphone. Powered by Android, the infotainment system also lets you play FullHD videos using the USB port. It also offers rearview and steering wheel control and can mirror your Android phone’s display using the AutoLink app. It is currently available on Amazon for Rs 21,739.

If you are looking for a slightly better infotainment system, check out Sony’s XAV-AX5500. It has a 6.95-inch display and lets users connect Apple and Android devices to get directions or play music using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

The device comes with two USB ports, meaning you can connect a USB device like a pen drive while simultaneously using your phone for calls and directions. It also supports voice control with Android Auto, meaning you can use voice commands to reply to messages, take phone calls without getting distracted and control music playback. You can buy it for Rs 24,162.

Want a large touchscreen display? Sony’s XAV-AX8000 might be a good choice. It has an 8.95-inch anti-glare screen and comes with a 3-way adjustable mount. Similar to other car stereo systems, it supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

However, unlike other products in this list, it lets you control your Android or iPhone using voice controls. Using Sony’s Weblink app, users can mirror their smartphones in wired mode. You can buy it for Rs 35,990.

Kenwood DMX7022S has a 6.8-inch display and supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The company says it has added support for Waze and Google Maps for Apple CarPlay.

If you use an Android device, the infotainment system can mirror your mobile apps on a large screen using the Mirroring OA for Kenwood app when connected via USB. As for music playback, the company says users can connect up to five Bluetooth devices at the same time. It is currently selling on Amazon for Rs 39,999.
