Facebook Messenger's video-calling feature, which was rolled-out in April, is now available globally. Facebook's Vice-President of Messaging Products, David Marcus made the announcement on Facebook. Check out his post here. Marcus wrote, "Quick update on video calling in Messenger: we're happy to share we've now rolled out the capability globally, with the exception of a few countries we're still working on improving quality for. So make sure you get the latest and greatest version for iOS and Android, give it a try, and as always. tell us how we can make it even better for you!" Watch video below: (App users click here for video) The video-calling feature is a new addition to Facebook Messenger and uses WiFi or Data connection to make the video call. Users can call a friend even if both of them are not on the same platform, for now this is limited to Android and iOS. Video calling was first launched in United States, UK, Canada and France. We tested out of the video-calling feature on Android and what the new update does is that it adds a video symbol next to the name of your contacts on Facebook Messenger. Once you hit on the video icon, the video call begins. The quality of the call will of course be determined by the strength of 3G signal or your WiFi's speed. Let us know in the comments what you think of the video-calling feature.
