Mid-range smartphones – that are priced around Rs 30,000 – have gotten a lot better in the last few years. These smartphones offer almost flagship-grade features and specifications at a lower price tag. The big smartphone brands in India are now gearing up for the launch of their mid-range smartphones in the country.

Here are some of the most anticipated mid-range smartphones to be launched in India over the next few weeks.

OnePlus Nord 3

OnePlus Nord 3 is one of the most anticipated mid-range smartphones of 2023. As per early information, OnePlus is likely to introduce the China-exclusive OnePlus Ace 2V in India and other international markets as the OnePlus Nord 3. Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, this could easily be the most powerful Nord smartphone and it is also likely to be one of the most powerful mid-range smartphones.

The Nord 3 is said to offer features like a 1.5K resolution AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the phone is also said to have a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor. It also features a 16MP selfie camera. The OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to be launched in India in the second half of 2023 and is likely to carry a price tag of around Rs 30,000 for the base variant.

Poco F5

Poco F5 is yet another performance-oriented smartphone that is set for launch in the next few days. In fact, the head of Poco India has already started teasing the launch of Poco F5, powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC in India. Just like the OnePlus Nord 3, the Poco F5 is also a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is again a China exclusive.

With a narrow-bezel 120Hz AMOLED screen and a glass sandwich design, the Poco F5 is likely to offer a premium build quality. The triple camera setup on the back of the Poco F5 will have a 64MP primary camera, and the phone is also expected to offer features like native 4K video recording and more. The base model of the Poco F5 is likely to cost around Rs 30,000 in India.

Samsung Galaxy F54

Samsung Galaxy F54 is another interesting phone that might soon come to India. This is said to be based on the Galaxy A54 sans IP rating. Hence, despite having similar specifications, the Samsung Galaxy F54 is likely to cost a lot less than the Samsung Galaxy A54.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy F54 is said to be powered by the Exynos 1380 SoC with at least 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is likely to offer a triple camera setup with a 108MP primary sensor. Lastly, it is also expected to pack a large 6,000 mAh battery, hence the phone might offer improved battery life when compared to the Galaxy A54 with a 5,000 mAh battery.

Realme GT Neo 5

Realme showcased the world’s fastest charging phone – the GT Neo 5 240W – at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2023). The company is expected to launch the same phone in India in the next few months. The phone is based on the capable Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and it also has a few more exclusive features, like an LED square on the back that doubles as a notification LED.

The phone also has a 144Hz FHD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The triple camera setup on the back consists of a 50MP primary camera. A 4,600mAh battery fuels the device and with 240W fast charging, the phone can be fully charged in just 10 minutes.

Nothing Phone (2)

The Nothing Phone (2) is probably the one phone on this list that we don’t have much information about, except for the fact that the phone will be based on the flagship Snapdragon 8 series processor, which was confirmed at MWC 2023.
