Google is rolling out a bunch of new features to its search engine. With summer just around the corner, many are looking forward to travelling to beat the heat. With that in mind, Google is introducing new ways that can help improve the trip planning experience. Browse hotels Starting this week, Google will roll out the ability to browse and discover hotels on mobile devices. If you search for a hotel and tap on the view more button, Google will let you explore the property in what it calls a 'swipeable story format' where you can go through the photos of the hotel so you know what it looks like. Users will also be able to save the hotel, get more details about the area or view a summary of what people think about the place. Explore more Google is also making it easier to find more things to do when you are travelling to a new place. If you are visiting a popular place or want to go to some other place, searching for an attraction or tour company will directly show the price associated along with a link that lets you book a ticket. Save money on flight tickets As it turns out, Google is also working to make it easy for users to save money on their next flight. Currently available as a pilot program for price guarantees in the United States, if users see a flight with the price guarantee badge, it means the price for the flight won't go any lower. The tech giant says that if the price goes down than what the badge mentioned, the company will pay the user the difference amount via Google Pay. However, the program is only available for those flight bookings made from Google on flights that depart from the United States. Google is currently rolling out the above-mentioned features, so it might take a while before they can be used. Recently, Google Search introduced 'Topic filters' to desktop users.
