If you are intrigued about the iOS 17, Apple allows users to install the same on compatible iPhones for free of cost. However, opting out of the beta software isn’t as straightforward, hence, only install iOS 17 developers/public beta on a secondary iPhone, as beta builds are usually far away from being perfect.
Follow this tutorial to install iOS 17 beta on your iPhone.
Apple has introduced several new features with the iOS 17 update, including a new phone app, NameDrop, improved lock screen customisation options, a new journal app and more.
Similarly, StandBy is one of the key highlights of the iOS 17 update, which turns an iPhone into a digital clock when it is charging. Contact poster is also another fun new way of looking at the contacts, which adds an entirely new dimension, allowing users to further customise the contact with memoji, custom fonts and accents.
The phone app also received a major revamp, which now includes features like live voicemail and video messages for FaceTime video calls. Apple also tweaked the call end button in the earlier version of iOS 17 beta, however, due to massive backlash, the company reinstated the earlier layout, with the call button located on the bottom center of the call menu.
Messages have also gained quite a few features, including the ability to create stickers within the app, and Apple has also improved the autocorrect algorithm, which should help you text better.
