The rumours about Apple Maps are based on an advertisement by the company for a "Maps JavaScript Engineer", says the AppleInsider report. The ad is looking for a "Web technology expert to 'help make maps work seamlessly on the web.'" The report adds that Web-based Apple Maps means it could work on Windows 10 as well.
