Microsoft recently added a bunch of new AI-powered features to its popular keyboard app - SwiftKey. While some are new, others come in the form of improvements to the app's Bing Chat shortcut. Available on both iOS and Android, the latest update introduces features like a new AI-powered 'Editor' and Bing AI image generator. Here's a quick look at what's new. Snap camera lenses Microsoft has added several new AI-powered camera lenses that help users create videos, photos and GIFs using different effects and lenses, which include more than 250 tools and filters, some of which are from Snapchat developer Snap Inc. To use lenses, tap the three dots on the left side of the Bing toolbar and select 'Camera'. Here, you can use an existing image or take a new one to record GIFs. Bing image generator SwiftKey also adds a shortcut to Bing's Image Generator powered by DALL-E 3. As the name suggests, Bing Image Creator can be used to generate images by typing in the description and can also be used to take or upload an image to get visual search results from Bing. To find it, tap the Emoji button on the SwiftKey toolbar and find and tap the 'Create' icon. In the text field, describe the type of image you want and tap the arrow button on the right. Create personalised stickers Microsoft also added a new sticker generation tool that lets you create and send personalised stickers to use on popular instant messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram. If you are interested in trying, press the three-dot button on the right side of the Bing toolbar and tap on 'Stickers'. Now, press the star icon and tap on the Create button. Here, you can select an image from your phone or click a new one to make a sticker. AI-powered 'Editor' SwiftKey has finally added an AI-powered proofreader that offers suggestions on how to improve grammar and also helps fix spelling mistakes and punctuation. To use, just select the text you want, tap on the Bing icon on the left side of the SwiftKey toolbar and head over to 'Editor'. The AI-powered proofreader will offer suggestions to improve clarity and other things as well as fix mistakes, if any. Microsoft says some of these features are still rolling out, so it might take some time before they appear on your mobile keyboard.
