OnePlus 13s India Launch Highlights: OnePlus 13s compact phone starts at Rs 54,999

The physical dimensions of the OnePlus 13s — 8.15 mm thin and 185 gram — make it easy to use one-handed and slip into any pocket, even your tightly fitted Levi’s jeans. Made of aluminum, the phone is lightweight, which not only makes one-handed use easier but also makes it convenient to carry in light clothing, like shorts, during morning walks. The OnePlus 13s (12GB+256GB) variant costs Rs 54,999 while the 12GB+512GB variant costs Rs 59,999. The 512 GB variant will go on sale from June 12 onwards, while pre-orders for the 256GB model starts from June 5.

That seems to be the tagline for the OnePlus 13s, which comes with a custom industry-first G1 Wi-Fi enhancement chip for superior Wi-Fi stability. Of course, the smartphone's performance is owed to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The OnePlus 13s launch event starts with what seems like a long, White Lotus-themed ad featuring the company's Tilen Pigac.

Even as the OnePlus 13s is all set to make its India debut, the Chinese tech giant is also rolling out its latest Android tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3, for consumers in the UK as well as countries in North America and Europe. Here is what we know about the OnePlus Pad 3 so far:

- The OnePlus Pad 3 is likely to have Open Canvas, which enables users to multitask by opening up apps simultaneously.

Ahead of the launch of the OnePlus 13s, the company has teased some new and exciting AI-powered features such as VoiceScribe, Call Assistant and AI translation. Will the OnePlus 13s also ditch the iconic Alert Slider in favour of a new button to trigger these AI features? That is what the rumours are about. -OnePlus has already confirmed that the 13s will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is Qualcomm’s newest and fastest chipset that can also be found in other flagship phones launched this year such as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15, and iQOO 13.

- The OnePlus 13s is expected to boast a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of around 1,600 nits.

- Based on the teasers shared by the company, the OnePlus 13s is expected to sport a squircle-ish camera island that houses a dual camera setup.

- The OnePlus 13s is said to come in three coloursways – Black Velvet, Pink Satin and Green Silk.

- Based on rumours, it could pack a 6,260mAh Silicon Carbon battery. However, this will be confirmed in a few hours.
