On Tuesday, OnePlus confirmed that its next smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch 3, is arriving globally on February 18. With the catchphrase "Ultimate Health. Unstoppable Battery," OnePlus has also announced that the Watch 3 will deliver up to a staggering 18 days of battery life, making it the longest-lasting Wear OS-powered smartwatch. This time, the OnePlus Watch 3 will be available in more markets, including the US, Canada, and Europe. While there is no mention of India in the press release, it is most likely to launch there as well. The wait is almost over! Just like its predecessor, it is expected to offer a stainless steel casing with easily replaceable straps. In terms of battery life, the OnePlus Watch 3 has been confirmed to last up to 16 days in power saver mode and up to 120 hours in smart mode, an improvement over the 100-hour battery life of the OnePlus Watch 2 (review). Equipped with a 631mAh battery—possibly one of the largest ever in a smartwatch—it is also said to support fast charging, providing a day's worth of battery life with just 10 minutes of charging. Like its predecessor, the Watch 3 will run on two operating systems—Wear OS and RTOS—powered by two separate chips: the Snapdragon W5 and the BES2800 MCU. These dual-chip configurations contribute to the claimed extended battery life. The Watch 3 also retains the crown feature from the Watch 2, but this time, it offers full functionality, according to a report by Android Central. Expected to launch in two colour options, the OnePlus Watch 3 is also rumoured to introduce new health and fitness-focused features. As of now, there is no information on the pricing of the OnePlus Watch 3. However, considering the price of the Watch 2, it is likely to be priced around Rs 25,000. The company will reveal more details on February 18.
