While a slew of major brands have already launched quite a few devices in the first half of 2023, there are still some companies planning to bring smartphones for the new season. The upcoming phones will have improved designs, newer hardware, and are also expected to pack the latest software experience. Here are the five most interesting upcoming smartphones in India that are worth the wait. Poco F5 The Poco F5 will be the first one to launch soon in India. The brand has already confirmed that the Poco F5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC. Similarly, as per the leaks, the Poco F5 will feature an FHD+ resolution OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the device is also speculated to ship with Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin on top. Official renders also suggest that the Poco F5 will have a triple camera setup at the back, and the brand has confirmed that the phone will have a 64 MP primary sensor. Similarly, the phone is also said to feature a VC (vapour chamber) cooling system. In terms of pricing, the Poco F5 is expected to cost around Rs 30,000 and will go official on May 9, 2023. Google Pixel 7a Google has also confirmed the launch of the Pixel 7a in India. Launching on May 11, the Pixel 7a is powered by the Tensor G2 SoC. As per the leaks, just like the Pixel 7, the Pixel 7a will have a 64 MP primary camera. Leaks also suggest that the phone will come with a 13 MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 13 MP selfie camera. Leaks also suggest that the Google Pixel 7a might also get wireless charging capabilities. On top of that, the device is also said to support fast wired and wireless charging. The Pixel 6a came with a 60Hz refresh rate display and the Pixel 7a will feature a 90Hz refresh rate display. In terms of software experience, the phone will come with Android 13 OS and the device is expected to cost around Rs 40,000 in India. Lava Agni 2 Lava Agni 2 is another interesting mid-range phone launching in the next few weeks. MediaTek has officially confirmed that the Agni 2 will be the first smartphone to feature the new Dimensity 7050 SoC, which is a rebranded Mediatek Dimensity 1080 processor, which powers devices like the Realme 11 Pro+ and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. Leaks also suggest that the Lava Agni 2 will feature a curved AMOLED screen and the phone will include an in-display fingerprint sensor. Looking at the leaked specifications, the Lava Agni 2 could easily be the most powerful smartphone from the brand and is expected to go official in the next few weeks. OnePlus Nord 3 The OnePlus Nord 3 is one of the most speculated mid-range phones of 2023, powered by the Dimensity 9000 SoC. The Nord 3 is said to be the rebranded OnePlus Ace 2V, which was recently launched in China. In terms of hardware specifications, the Nord 3 is said to feature a 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the phone is also speculated to support up to 100W fast charging. Other prominent features of the OnePlus Nord 3 includes a triple camera setup with a 64 MP primary sensor, and the phone is also expected to pack a 16MP selfie camera. It is speculated that the Nord 3 might launch in the second half of 2023 and is expected to ship with Android 13-based OxygenOS 13. Realme 11 Pro+ Realme 11 Pro+ is the last on the list, but it does come with an interesting design, at least according to leaks. The leaks suggest that the phone features a circular camera cutout at the back with a 200MP primary camera and is powered by the Dimensity 1080 SoC, the same chip that also powers the Realme 10 Pro+. The Realme 11 Pro+ is also said to come with a curved AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and the phone is also said to include a large battery with fast charging support. The Realme 11 Pro+ is launching in China and in other parts of the world at a later date.
