Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Book4 series laptops that start from Rs 1,14,990. Featuring the Intel Core Ultra processors, the official webpage of the new laptops gives us a glimpse of some of the upcoming features that will soon be available for Copilot users on Windows 11 with Android-powered smartphones.
The South Korean tech giant shows an infographic which reveals that Copilot will offer deep integration with Android phones linked to the Galaxy Book4 series laptops. Samsung says “Microsoft Copilot turns your prompts into actions through simple chat commands”.
The image suggests that once users connect their Galaxy phones with Copilot, they will be able to use natural language prompts like ‘Remind me what Smith said in his recent messages’, ‘Copy the link from Smith’s message’ and ‘Reply to Shawn saying No Problem! on Messages’.
Some of the features coming to Copilot on the Galaxy Book4 series include the ability to manage tasks on your PC, copy a link from a message on your Android phone, ask Copilot to remind you about a message or task, copy an email address from your Android phone and compose an email using Copilot and send it via Outlook.
Since none of the aforementioned prompts are currently available on the stable version of Windows 11, these features may likely be limited to select Samsung Galaxy phones. The website also hints that the aforementioned features will be available with Copilot sometime in the ‘spring of 2024’.
Microsoft may shed some light on some of the upcoming functionalities at the upcoming March 21 event named ‘New Era of Work’, where the tech giant is also expected to unveil the new Surface devices.
