Microsoft Swiftkey is one of the most popular keyboards of all time. Available on both Android and iOS, the free-to-use keyboard app offers some really cool functionalities. From creating custom stickers using AI to typing in incognito mode, here are some Swiftkey features you should give a try. Create your own sticker using AI While you may already have a huge collection of stickers that you often use, Swiftkey lets you create custom stickers you can easily share with others. The DALL-E 3-powered feature is fun to use and can be accessed with a few taps. To use it, open Swifkey on your phone and tap on the arrow button on the top left to open the toolbar. Now, click on the three-dot button on the top right of the keyboard and choose the option named ‘Stickers’. Once done, you will see a magic wand-like button on the bottom, clicking on which will show you a text field with the text ‘Describe a sticker to create’. Here, type the sticker you want AI to generate, wait for a few seconds and your newly generated sticker will be ready for use. Easily switch between languages Similar to Gboard, Swiftkey lets you easily switch between five different languages when texting. The keyboard app currently supports more than 700 languages on Android. When you add a new language to Swiftkey, you can easily switch to it by simply swiping left or right on the spacebar. To add a new language, launch the Swiftkey app on your phone and head over to the ‘Language’ section to find, add, or manage languages. Copy and paste text, links from phone to PC or vice versa Swiftkey features a built-in clipboard that can be used to copy text, links, and other things from your phone to your PC or vice versa. Once set up, the functionality can come in handy as you will no longer have to send links or text to messaging or other apps on your PC to access them. To find and enable the Swiftkey clipboard, open the toolbar by pressing the arrow button and tap on the ‘Clipboard’ button. Here, you can enable the feature on your smartphone, but syncing your clipboard with your PC requires a few additional steps, which the app will guide you through. Use Microsoft Copilot AI from the keyboard itself Soon after Microsoft launched Copilot, the company announced that it would be bringing the AI-powered chatbot to Swiftkey. The functionality lets you access Copilot without interfering with whatever you are doing on your phone and can help you search, chat, compose new messages, and even write on your behalf. To access Copilot when using Swiftkey, press the left-most button from the toolbar and you are good to go. Use incognito mode If you want your keyboard to stop spying on your search queries or stop learning particular words when talking to someone, Swiftkey’s incognito mode can be really useful. The feature is disabled by default, but you can quickly toggle it by opening the toolbar, pressing the three-dot menu button, and tapping on the ‘Incognito’ button.
