Xiaomi has announced a new two-wheel self-balancing in scooter in collaboration with Segway. The company CEO Hugo Barra posted about the new product on his Facebook page. The new two wheel device is called Ninebot mini and it looks like a miniature version of Segway. The Ninebot mini is priced at $314 and can do up to 22km in one single charge. Xiaomi is one of the major investor in Ninebot, the Chinese company that purchased Segway and this could be fruit of that acquisition. [related-post] The Ninebot mini can achieve a maximum speed of up to 16km/hour and take 15 degree hill ride. The Ninebot mini weighs 12.8 kilograms and Xiaomi says it "easily fits in the trunk of your car".
