Sony PlayStation 4 to become available in India from Jan 6 at Rs 39,990

Sony India announced the launch of its new PlayStation 4 gaming console in India.

Sony India on Wednesday announced the launch of its new PlayStation 4 gaming console in India. The much-awaited gaming console will cost Rs 39,990 and will be available from January 6,2014.

The console is priced at $399 in the US and the India price has a substantial premium associated with it. Extra controllers will cost Rs 4,990 each and a same additional cost for the camera.

The device will have features like face recognition,touchpad in controller and social media integration.
