The female robot ‘unveiled’

German scientists have unveiled a female robot which they claim is best suited for factory work.

German scientists have unveiled a female robot which they claim is best suited for factory work despite her model-like looks.

The amazing hi-tech Artificial Intelligence Lightweight Android (AILA) robot, called fembot, can not only navigate, think for herself and lift heavy objects — but she also has got great hair, say its developers.

The sleek AILA robot was revealed at CeBIT technology fair in Germany,’The Sun’ reported.

AILA uses laser range finders – which bounce lasers off surfaces – to help her navigate, and has cameras installed in her head so she can see what’s going on around her,say the scientists.

She rolls around on wheels scanning radio waves – which tell her if objects she has to carry are fragile or heavy and where they should be delivered.
