M2 Mac mini Apple also discontinued its iconic-looking M2 Mac mini and replaced it with a much smaller M4 Mac mini (review). Mac minis are popular among students and developers who want an affordable and reliable computer that is also compact and capable. M3 iMac Apple also replaced the M3 iMac with the M4 iMac. Again, both look exactly identical, with the latest one being more powerful. M3 MacBook Pro The launch of the M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max-powered MacBook Pro line-up also meant the M3 MacBook Pro is now discontinued.
