Google Maps now has a tiny weather icon on the top right corner, which gives quick access to the weather details, and one can also click on the icon to expand it and get more details on the weather. Right now, this feature is available on both Android and iOS versions of the Google Maps app. Just make sure that you have an up-to-date Maps app on your smartphone to explore this new nifty feature, which offers weather information with just a single touch. How to get real-time weather information on Google Maps? Open the Maps app on your phone > search for the location of your choice, and you should see a small weather icon in the top left corner. Just click on the icon to expand it and get more details along with the future forecast of the weather, which is fetched from weather.com. If you are planning to travel to a place on a specific date, this feature should give you an idea of the weather of that place, along with the real-time air quality index. Similarly, you can also use Google Maps to get details on wildfires, and you can even use the Maps app to share your live location with friends and family.
