Most of us connect to different Wi-Fi networks every day, and with internet providers and router manufacturers setting up complex passwords, chances are you have already forgotten what your Wi-Fi password is. And while both Android and iPhones save Wi-Fi passwords by default and have features you might have trouble seeing the actual passwords for one of the networks you’ve connected to before. Here’s how you can quickly check Wi-Fi passwords on Android and iOS. How to see Wi-Fi password on Android The majority of modern Android devices, be it tablets or smartphones, have an option that lets you quickly share and view your Wi-Fi password. To find it, open the Settings app on your Android device and head over to the Wi-Fi section. If you own a Samsung device, this option is located under “Connections”. Now, tap on the gear icon next to the name of the Wi-Fi you are connected to and proceed to tap on the eye icon next to the ‘password’ field. In case you are unable to find the password field, there should be a ‘Share’ button with a QR code icon, tapping on which will show you the Wi-Fi password on the bottom. How to see Wi-Fi password on iPhones Viewing a Wi-Fi password you are connected to is really easy on an iPhone. To do so, simply open the Settings app and tap on Wi-Fi. Now, find the Wi-Fi you are connected to and click on the ‘i’ button to the right. On the screen that appears, tap on the ‘Password’ field and your iPhone will ask you for biometric authentication to reveal the password.
