Netflix, the popular video streaming platform recently rolled out a new update for iPhone and iPad that brings the ability to download an entire season with a single tap. Dubbed 'Download Season', the new button can be found to the right of the 'Share' button that appears on the top bar. This feature has been available on Android devices since 2021 but for reasons unknown, was missing on the iPhone and iPad versions of the app. Until now, Netflix users on Apple devices had to manually download each episode of a TV show if they wanted to watch it offline. This made it cumbersome and hard to keep track of whether you have downloaded every episode. Netflix also said that all downloaded episodes will be visible in the My Downloads section, which is located under the My Profile tab, which sits at the bottom right of the home page. To download an entire season on your iPhone or iPad, make sure you are on the latest version of the app, open Netflix on your phone, tap on the TV series you want to download and select the season from the drop-down menu that appears when you tap the Download Season button. Netflix currently offers four plans in India - Mobile, Basic, Standard and Premium. The 'Mobile' and 'Basic' plans are priced at Rs 149 and Rs 199 respectively and allow users to download in 480p and 720p respectively on a single device. If you want to download your favourite TV series on more devices, make sure you are subscribed to the 'Standard' plan, which costs Rs 499 per month and allows users to download episodes on two devices at 1080p quality.
