What stood out to many was how, while Ed was on international tours, Cherry was steadily building her career in the corporate world, working full-time at global consulting giant Deloitte. According to her now widely shared profile, Cherry served as a manager in Deloitte’s nature, climate and sustainability – innovation, scaling impact team, from August 2021 to March 2024.

Before that, she took time off to pursue further studies. Cherry holds a post graduate certificate in sustainable business from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, along with a master’s degree in management studies from Duke University.

Her history with Deloitte spans almost a decade, with roles across various departments in both the London and New York offices. The combination of dedication, academic pursuit, and long-term professional consistency has impressed many on social media.
