How interesting or absurd is it to meet someone who looks exactly like you? Well, the man who met his doppelganger on a flight 30,000 feet high was pleasantly surprised and elated, tweeted his wife’s friend.
The man reportedly called Neil Thomas Douglas is a U.K based photographer and was travelling to Ireland on Thursday night to cover a wedding. That’s when he found the man sitting right next to him look almost like himself.
The two men, with fully grown ginger-beard, took a selfie together, while on the plane. “I couldn’t believe it!” he told Huffington Post.
His wife’s friend called Lee Beattie wrote “Guy on right is the husband of my friend. Guy on left is a STRANGER he met on a flight last night!”

It didn’t stop there. The two men checked into the same hotel and bumped into each other again at a local bar where they shared a couple of drinks, reports Huffpost. To make matters more interesting, as soon as it was tweeted out, the picture went viral on the microblogging site and three bearded men quickly posted their selfies who, in fact, did seem like the other two. Hail the power of social media!

Scientists have conceded that people who look almost like you exist but often people who report that may have a mental health issue. But this one is out in the open and proves that you might bump into your look-alike randomly while traveling or having a cup of coffee.
