Bengaluru’s infamous traffic has a way of trapping everyone, even the city’s cows. A recent video posted by Karnataka Portfolio on X shows a herd of cattle stuck right in the middle of a jam-packed road, surrounded by blaring horns, squeezed-in two-wheelers, and bewildered pedestrians trying to weave their way through the chaos.
“Bengaluru traffic doesn’t discriminate… it traps everyone equally,” the post said, capturing exactly what the clip shows: tech workers rushing to office, bikers hunting for gaps, and cows simply ambling along, all brought to a standstill by the city’s gridlock.
The video quickly struck a chord online, with viewers calling it a “peak Bengaluru” moment. One user pointed out how calm the cow remained “and did not hurt anyone or honk at anyone,” while another chimed in with a cheeky “That is total bulls**t.”
Many other netizens reacted with laughing emojis.
Lately, the city has been delivering one unusual sight after another. Just days earlier, social media was buzzing over footage of a man casually sleeping inside the hollow space of a flyover pillar. Traffic slowed as curious onlookers stopped to record the surreal scene. Witnesses said the man seemed completely unfazed by the world outside, though locals worried that such a precarious spot could be dangerous.
In Bengaluru, it seems, the everyday commute never runs out of surprises, for humans or animals.
