Rahul Gandhi said PM Modi is doing ‘khoon ki dalali’ and people are mighty pissed with the phrase
While addressing a rally in the national capital on October 6, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi made a statement that doesn’t seem to be forgotten by people any soon. “Humare jawan hain jinho ne khoon diya hai, jinho ne surgical strike kiya, unke khoon ke peeche aap(PM) chhupe huye ho. Unki(jawans) aap(PM) dalali kar rahe ho. (Our jawans who sacrificed their lives, who did surgical strikes, you are hiding behind them. Pandering their blood),” said Gandhi as he culminted his month-long ‘Deoria to Delhi kisan yatra’.
The statement came a few days after he praised Narendra Modi for surgical strikes carrued out by the Indian Army on launch pads along the Line of Control. On September 30, Gandhi tweeted that he fully supported and appreciated the action taken by the Prime Minister. In a series of tweets, he said, “I’ll appreciate the PM whenever he acts like one. I want to thank him for taking an action as a Prime Minister for the first time in two and a half years. I fully support him.”
However, after his statement drew flak on social media, Gandhi decided to clear the air by saying that he fully supports the surgical strike but he doesn’t support using it for political reasons. “I fully support the surgical strikes and I have said so unequivocally, but I will not support using the Indian Army in political posters and propaganda all across the country,” he tweeted.
But Twitterati was mighty upset with the statement and here’s how they reacted.
“Khoon ki Dalali?” Really, Rahul Gandhi !! Shameful comment. Stick to English or Italian. And spare us such atrocities.

Fake Gandhi have no right to question the sincerity and commitment of our PM

Someone should have told @OfficeOfRG he is at a public meeting; not on Twitter. Words like Dalali are prerogative of trolls not of netas.
