Aadhaar Update 2025 Last Date: Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identifying number provided to Indian residents as proof of identity and address. It is required to access government services and execute financial activities securely. According to the Aadhaar Enrolment and Update Regulations, 2016, individuals are required to update their proof of identification and address documents every ten years from their enrollment date. This also applies to updating a child's biometric details on their Blue Aadhaar card between the ages of 5 and 15. Earlier this year, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) announced that Aadhaar cardholders can update their information for free, which otherwise incurs a cost of Rs 50 as a standard fee.
