Indian-American politician Vivek Ramaswamy’s eight-month-old prediction that President Joe Biden would not be the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee has gone viral after Biden’s announcement to step down and endorse Kamala Harris.
Ramaswamy tweeted, “Best way to predict the future: just follow the incentives. It’s shocking how precisely right you can be, right down to the exact timing.”
He shared an old interview from Fox News last November, where he predicted Biden’s exit.
Elon Musk praised Ramaswamy, saying, “Yeah, all his predictions have come true.” Ramaswamy responded, “Wish it weren’t so.”
In the Fox News interview, Ramaswamy said, “The reality is the managerial class around Biden has lost their use for him. This has been obvious to me since last year, playing out the incentives. He is not the strongest candidate they can put up. And these people have stopped at nothing to keep Donald J Trump out of office.”
Ramaswamy predicted that Kamala Harris or Michelle Obama were likely to be the candidates for the Democrats, saying, “They’re going to need someone who can energize the base and I think it’s going to be someone like Kamala Harris or Michelle Obama.”
Social media influencer Tristane Tate praised Ramaswamy, saying, “He’s been saying for almost a year that ‘Biden won’t be the Democratic nominee’ and predicting a last-minute blindside. Initially, people were skeptical, but he stuck to his guns!”
Ramaswamy shared a compilation of his prediction videos, illustrating “the anatomy of how a ‘conspiracy theory’ became reality in just 18 months.”
