Hargun Kaur Matharu from St Mary's School, Pune has topped the ICSE Class 10 exams in India this year. While she didn't have a set schedule, she thinks "the most important thing is that when teachers teach a subject in class, you follow it well."

Abhay Kumar Singhania of ST Patrick's Higher Secondary School, Asansol has achieved AIR 2 and rank 1 in Bengal, after scoring 99.6 per cent. Even though he expected a good score, national level rank was a pleasant surprise. He is now preparing for the JEE exam.

Bhargava Kollapalle from Pune ranked third in ICSE results. He said he believes in self study and is not very studious but believes self study is very important.

Shivani Deo, who ranked second in ICSE results, thoroughly relied on the classroom lectures. She also actively participates in athletic competitions regularly.

This year, Karnataka recorded an overall pass percentage of 99.99 per cent, and only two boys and a girl were unsuccessful. Nihara Mariam Oommen, a musician, achieved AIR 5 while pursuing Western Classical music.
Other topper is Adi Kishore, who scored 498 with an AIR of 5 and was attending his JEE Advanced coaching classes when the results were announced. He also pursues Carnatic music.
Another AIR 5 rank holder in Bengaluru is Sandhya S from New Horizon Public School who wants to become a physicist.

Mohammad Masood Iqbal of The Future Foundation School of Kolkata who has topped the state of West Bengal and holds all-India rank 2 with 99.60 per cent wants to become a doctor.

Aliya Rafat of Assembly of God Church School in Asansol, scored 99.6% and ranked second in the country. She wants to become an IAS officer.
