According to the JEE Main rank list 2016, released by CBSE, Deepanshu Jindal, a student from LP School in Pitampura, has topped the IIT-JEE mains. Pratyush Maini has secured the second position while Rajas Bansal from Delhi has secured the third rank.

Those students who have failed to pass SSC exam, can appear for the supplemantary exam that are usually conducted in June.

The district of Bengaluru has performed the best in the exams with an over all pass percentage of 88 percent followed by Udupi, Mangaluru and the Uttara Kannada district. Ballary district has performed the worst with an over all pass percentage of 53.87 followed by Gadag and Yadagiri. Last year, Udupi district had performed the best in the SSLC exams.
