
Matunga Central Railway workshop, built in 1915 on the central line of Mumbai Suburban Railway network, has scored a century of its existence which was set up for repairing coaches and wagons of the Great Indian Peninsular Railway. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu was present at the workshop to celebrate the 100 years of Matunga Central Railway workshop.
