Tech launches of the week: Poco M3, Nokia Smart TV, Nokia 2.4, and more

The newly launched Garmin Forerunner 745 smartwatch has been launched for Rs 52,990 in India. The wearable has a 1.2-inch (240x240 pixels) transflective display, 5ATM rating, a menstrual cycle monitor, Pulse Ox blood oxygen saturation monitor and more. It comes with features like continuous heart-rate monitoring, daily resting heart rate, respiration rate, body battery energy monitor, all-day stress tracking, and advanced sleep monitoring. Garmin claims that users will get up to seven days of battery life in smartwatch mode, up to six hours in GPS mode with music, up to 16 hours with GPS mode without music, and up to 21 hours in UltraTrac mode. The smartwatch supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ANT+, smart notifications, text response/reject phone call with text, music controls, music storage of up to 500 songs, advanced dynamics for cycling and swim training.

The newly launched ZTE Watch Live smartwatch comes with a square 1.3-inch display with support for 240 x 240 pixels resolution. It is IP68 rated and the company ships with a soft silicone band. The wearable comes with 12 activity-tracking features, heart rate monitoring, and blood oxygen saturation level monitoring. One will get real-time notifications, music control, sedentary reminders, remote camera shutter, and weather information. It is said to deliver up to 21 days of battery life. The latest ZTE Watch Live wearable is priced at CNY 229 (Rs 2,580).

The 75-inch Nokia Smart TV model's price has been set at EUR 1,399, which is around Rs 1,23,300. The television ships with Android TV 9.0, a 4K UHD panel with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10. One will find two 12W speakers, powered by Dolby Digital Plus and DTS surround sound technologies. Under the hood, the 75-inch TV comes with a quad-core ARM CA55 SoC, paired with Mali 470 MP3 GPU and 1.5GB of RAM. There is also 8GB of onboard storage. The TV ships with apps like Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Netflix, and YouTube. The smart TV even supports Google Assistant. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, four HDMI, two USB 2.0, optical audio, VGA, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an Ethernet port.

The Poco M3 has a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display, a Snapdragon 662 SoC, and a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The triple rear camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel shooter. The smartphone offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Poco M3 price is set at $149 (around Rs 11,000), which is for the 4GB + 64GB storage variant.

Wings lifestyle has unveiled Wings Elevate, which is a neckband-style earphone with support for Bluetooth 5.0. It is priced at Rs 1,399. It has dual pairing feature and can be connected with two devices at a time. This means that you can switch between music or video conference on laptop and phone calls on mobile. The audio product comes with fast charging support. The company claims that 20 minutes charge will give 4 hours of playtime. Users will get a total of 10 hours playtime, as per the company. The earphones offer 10mm neodymium drivers and up to 10 wireless range.

The Nokia 2.4 has been launched in India for Rs 10,399, which is for the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. It runs on Android 10 out of the box and offers a 6.5-inch HD+ screen. The entry-level phone has a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, a dual rear camera setup, and a 4,500mAh battery. Nokia has added a 13MP primary sensor at the back, which is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 5MP camera.

Lumiford has launched its new wired earphones. The Lumiford U60 is priced at Rs 1,299 and Lumiford U50 earphones are being sold for Rs 999. They have 20Hz~20KHz frequency response and 105dB±3dB sensitivity. The new audio products come with a 3.5mm Universal Aux pin, passive noise cancellation, and high bass drivers.

The Moto e7 comes with a 48MP main sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. For seflies, there is a 5MP camera on the front. The device runs Android 10 out of the box. The Vivo Y1s smartphone is yet to be announced in India, but it is listed on the official site. Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom claims that the phone is priced at Rs 7,990, which is for the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage option. The dual-SIM Vivo phone packs a 6.22-inch HD+ display, a MediaTek Helio P35 MT6765 SoC and a 4,030mAh battery. At the back, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.

Samsung has launched two new gaming monitors in India. The 49-inch Odyssey G9, and the 32-inch and 27-inch Odyssey G7 models are priced between Rs 49,000 and Rs 1,99,000.
